Sonia Stott took our property in Christchurch to Auction. We were new to the auction process and Sonia was extremely through and diligent to ensure we understood to process from start to finish. She took a lot of time and effort to build a campaign which was exactly suited to our property which had a lot of unique qualities. Sonia's ability to understand why we loved this house made her able to build a campaign which we were really confident would secure us the best price that was available to us in the market. Sonia took care of everything for us as we were located overseas, which potentially made her job so much harder! Her hard work, attention to detail, and her real appreciation for our property made us very confident that we had the best person and the best team at Harcourts Vision looking after us! We got a fantastic price at auction, a price which we certainly would never have gotten if we had used another method of sale! Fiona and Blair Davis, Brisbane

Bruce and I are so very grateful for all you have done to secure such a great result for us. Entrusting you to facilitate selling our most valuable asset was the best decision that we could have made. We appreciate your hard work, your wonderful, confident, quiet 'can do' attitude, your sense of humour and your great attention to detail. I am so lucky to have had you take care of all the small details in my absence and I was confident at every open home, that even though I wasn't there, our home was looking its best and in great hands.
Our emotional attachment to this house has been very strong and the decision to sell has not been an easy one for either of us, especially in this unknown, fluctuating earthquake environment. Thank you for your sensitivity in making the transition to sell somewhat less painful.
Wow... what an awesome result you and Harcourts achieved for us. We are still pinching ourselves with disbelief! The branding, and the proven methods and concepts of Harcourts have been demonstrated once again, it gets the best results. We have been so happy with you in the 'Blue Team'. Be assured we will singing your praises and recommended you and Harcourts whenever we have the opportunity.
With kind regards and the biggest thank you again. Trish and Bruce Broughton

Sonia Stott listed this beautiful property for Auction in Watsons Road - in the second week of a three and a half week campaign there were two pre-auction (unconditional offers) submitted in writing to owners for consideration. One of the offers was at a level that the owners were excited to accept. This meant the auction was called forward allowing one business day and that the bidding would start at the level of the pre-auction offer. If there was no further digging the property would be sold under the hammer to that purchaser.
The auction was held in our Harcourts Vision rooms on March 8th (instead of the 20th) all registered parties were notified by Sonia the listing agent and the bidding commenced at $680,000 with the pre-auction offer.
There were 6 groups of registered parties in the auction room and there was spirited bidding back and forth between two groups finally ending with a final bid of $780,000 followed by the fall of the hammer.
The owners were over the moon with this incredible result! The only unfortunately thing is that only one party could secure this beautiful home.
